What You’ll Do 

We are looking to add a talented Senior HR Generalist to manage the day-to-day aspects of the HR function of Pure Architects and support the HR needs across other family businesses. This role will work closely with leadership and the Firm operations team and will create a positive, consistent employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle and serves as a primary resource for employees and leadership on HR-related matters. Responsibilities include payroll administration, employee benefits management, recruiting, onboarding, employee records, leave administration, employee relations, compliance, performance support, and offboarding. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Use your bachelor’s degree in HR or related field along with 5+ years of experience to manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle and collaborate with the leadership and Firm operations team to develop and maintain a strong company culture that supports a JUST organization.   
  • Cultivate an engaging candidate experience by managing the full cycle recruiting process by applying creative talent sourcing ideas, interviewing, extending offers, and facilitating the onboarding process. 
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively with leaders throughout the organization through assisting with the performance management process, compensation adjustments, and employee development plans.  
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues by taking time to get to know our employees on a personal level and serve as an internal consultant to other leaders within the organization to lead, advise and mediate employee relations situations and corrective actions to ensure fairness and consistency 
  • Have a strong attention to detail and understanding of payroll administration and processing to perform payroll activities across multiple entities ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws and addressing payroll inquiries. 
  • Manage all employee leaves of absences by ensuring compliance with organizational policies and laws by tracking deadlines, paperwork, and assisting employees through proactive communication and service. 
  • Administer all benefits including enrollments, changes, terminations and processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.   
  • Continually evaluate policies and programs to determine any gaps, and remain competitive within the industry including compensation, benefits, diversity, equity and inclusion to ensure applicants and employees of all backgrounds are welcomed, celebrated and can thrive.
